The GEICET is made up of six committees:
Committee School and University Relations
- Improving the effectiveness of relations between schools and companies,
with a view to increasing awareness of our professions and their associated
technologies amongst university and secondary school students
Committee Communications, Demonstrations and Promotion
- Promoting engineering professions and our expertise at trade fairs
and demonstrations (recruitment and trade fairs, etc.)
- Fighting against the impoverishment of the engineering professions
- Developing the image of the profession and raising awareness of the
Group
Committee Relocation, Technological Transfer and Security
- Researching and studying information on the real costs of setting
up offshore
- Highlighting the risks linked to such a method: conducting studies
and gathering documents for onward transmission to clients
Committee for Relations between French and European Institutions
- Improving the profession’s image in the eyes of French and
European institutions
- Defining the fundaments of the engineering profession
Committee on Ethics and Suistainable Development
- Drafting a charter on good conduct between members
- Getting a maximum number of professionals to adhere to it
Committee for International Development
- Developing our image and presence on an international level
- Prioritising and expanding communication with the initial target
countries: Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Sweden
- Compile a list of equivalents to the GEICET in those countries (if
any) and look at possible links.
